Property Taxes may be paid at the Madison County courthouse in Edwardsville, or at various banks in Highland.
Payments are not be accepted at City Hall.
The entire Property Tax bill is comprised of taxes from seven different taxing entities (The City and Library levy separately, but is shown together on the charts).
Note: The reference point generally used to distinguish between Helvetia and Saline Townships is 8th Street. Residents located to the north of 8th Street are located in Saline Township. Residents located to the south of 8th Street are located in Helvetia Township. For exact information on plats and boundries please contact the Madison County Assessor's office. The dates on the chart refers to the year the tax was levied.
